Los Teen Choice Awards regresan este 10 de agosto a las 7:30 pm, hora de Venezuela

Las categorías musicales, se encuentran llenas de cantantes juveniles como Austin Mahone, Miley Cyrus, Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, entre otros.

Los premios que rinden honor a las películas, programas de televisión, música y estrellas preferidas por los adolescentes estadounidenses estarán de vuelta este domingo 10 de agosto a las 7:30 pm, hora de Venezuela, y podrán ser vistos en América Latina a través de E Entertainment Televisión. 

Sarah hyland y Tyler Posey serán los presentadores este año.

El show este año será dirigido por Sarah Hyland (Modern Family) y Tyler Posey (Teen Wolf), y contará con las apariciones de Taylor Swift, Victoria Justice, Ian Somerhalder, Ariana Grande, Hilary Duff, Megan Fox, Josh Hutcherson, Kendall Jenner, Kim Kardashian, Lea Michele, entre otros. También tendrá las presentaciones en vivo de la cantante británica Rita Ora, el artista de hip-hop Jason Derulo, la banda canadiense Magic y una presentación especial de la estrella del pop Demi Lovato y la rapera Cher Lloyd, juntas en el escenario, interpretando el tema muy sonado en las radios a nivel mundial, I Really Don’t Care, entre otras actuaciones.

Al igual que en ocasiones anteriores, las categorías para los films nominados se encuentran divididas en mejor pelicula de acción, mejor película de fantasía y ciencia ficción, mejor película de comedia y mejor película de drama. Algunas de estas películas son Divergent, Maléfica, Capitan América: El Soldado del Invierno, Godzilla, The Amazing Spiderman 2, 22 Jump Street, entre otras.

Las categorías musicales, se encuentran llenas de cantantes juveniles como Austin Mahone, Miley Cyrus, Justin Timberlake, Taylor Swift, Katy Perry, entre otros. Las premiaciones más esperadas en esta area, probablemente, son las de estrella musical femenina, estrella musical masculina y grupo del verano. Los artistas esperando llevarse a casa la tabla de surf este año en estas categorías son, por el lado de las chicas: Nikki Minaj, Demi Lovato, Ariana Grande, Becky G e Iggy Azalea; por los chicos: Luke Bryan, Jason Derulo, John Legend, Sam Smith y Pharrel Williams; y, por los grupos : 5 Seconds of Summer, Florida Georgia Line, Fifth Harmony, Magic y Rixton.

En las categorías actorales cinematograficas, algunos de los nominados son: Angelina Jolie y Tom Cruise como mejores actor y actriz de acción, Braddley Cooper y Jennifer Lawrence por el área de las películas de drama, Chris Evans y Scarlett Johansson en la categoría de fantasía y ciencia ficción, y Johnny Knoxville y Emma Roberts por las comedias.

 Por el lado de la televisión, algunas de las series nominadas son: Pretty Little Liars, The Vampire Diaries y Glee. Los Simpson están nominados en la categoría de mejor serie animada, mientras, American Idol 13 y The Voice, se encuentran compitiendo por mejor Reality Competition Show , y, Keeping Up With The Kardashians, busca ganar la tabla de surf a mejor Reality Show. 

 Asimismo, entre los actores de la pantalla chica nominanados este año en las diferentes categorías para roles de television, se encuentran: Keegan Allen, reconocido por su papel de Toby Cavanaugh en la exitosa trama Pretty Little Liars y, junto a él, su coestrella Lucy Hale, quien interpreta  a Aria Montgomery en la misma serie. También compiten este año Ian Somerhalder y Nina Dobrev, por sus papeles en el drama romántico de ciencia ficción The Vampire Diaries, así como Lea Michelle, mejor conocida como Rachel Berry en el musical Glee, y Ashton Kutcher,quien, desde el 2009, interpreta a Walden Schmidt en la comedia Two and a Half Man.
